Summary
Macklin Celebrini suffers a violent, illegal hit during a game and collapses on the ice, unable to move. His teammate and secret love interest, Will Smith, watches from a distance, hiding his true feelings. Macklin is taken to the hospital with a fractured vertebra.
Will picks him up, takes him back to the hotel, and spends the night caring for him, holding his hand as Macklin breaks down emotionally.
