Loki, at just 24, is desperately struggling to find his place in the world, which is made rather difficult by his own circumstances. Burdened by the knowledge of his birth being the cause of his mother’s death, tossed from his comfortable life of wealth after being caught with a man, and now currently living with his older sister made sex worker, are all just enough to distort Loki’s perception of the world.Mobius is just a lonely, 35-year-old widow running a company that he barely knows anything about, and one evening he sees a scared young person shivering in the cold.
And well, he did always have a knack for finding broken things.

Summary
The two grieve in each other’s arms under that less than forgiving night, under the blanket of a cold and dry universe that’s been endlessly spiraling in the Force since the order was given, all dark and heavy with it. They grieve on this lost moon as two souls that should have drifted apart but somehow found one other just for this moment, just to be able to save each other.
And their grief will follow them everywhere, unrelenting and ruthless, just like the galaxy itself as it begins to reform and take this new, shadowy shape - uncharted and unpredictable with the loss of the Jedi a lingering scar in its construction.

Summary
Loki pauses, suddenly realizing he must elaborate. Instead, the man clears his throat and raises his menu again in hopes to hide the color that rises to his cheeks as he continues. "I just mean men - people, individuals, who are stronger than me. Physically - not mentally, obviously. I am more capable than you, clearly - " Loki interrupts himself, and quickly goes on a tangent to distract from his initial comment. "And competent too. You're lucky to have me around."
Mobius just stares in bewilderment, taking in everything the demi-god has just said while the trickster continues to pretend to play interest in the menu before him. Eventually, a scoff erupts from Mobius's mouth and he shakes his head, eyes crinkling.
"How you managed to, what, compliment me? Was that what that was?"
"Shut Up."
" - On an entirely too intimate level and then proceed to make it about yourself - it's just incredible, Loki."
"I know, I am rather good at doing that."
"Making things about yourself?"
"Mhm."
"Oh, I wouldn't say so." Mobius hums, and Loki looks over at him above the menu with a raised brow. The agent continues,
"You called me strong."
"I - I did not."

Loki realizes, staring down at his friend, that he would trade a thousand of his futures if it meant he got to have just one with Mobius.
“Loki, you alright? What happened?” Mobius steps closer, searching Loki’s eyes for anything, and Loki can’t help himself. He melts, lets out a shattering breath, and cups Mobius’s cheek before diving in to press a soft, broken kiss to his mouth.

Tony hadn't meant to make a habit of reassuring Steve's partners that his relationship with Bucky was totally and wholly platonic. It just happened to fall to him once, and then kept falling to him; Tony simply went along with it.
A couple years down, he had talking points and everything. So when Steve's latest partner asked to speak with him, he assumed it was (once again) because they felt insecure about Bucky's presence in Steve's life. Imagine his surprise when it turned out they felt threatened by him.
