Yoongi is taken aback. He hasn’t met someone so expressive before. But he keeps his guard, and shrugs. “Sure. I live around here. If you do, it’ll be easy to see me again. I’m Yoongi.”
The boy is looking at him like he wasn’t expecting to get that kind of answer. There’s almost a twinkle swirling around his eyes. Yoongi starts walking out of the tiny arcade. “I’m—I’m Taehyung. I’ll see you again!”
Taehyung. Taehyung’s beautiful hair is a wolf cut—messy like he’s run his fingers through it multiple times, and the longest tips rest on his shoulders. His exposed ears are big and his eyebrows are thick. His eyes are crescent moons when he smiles, and his lips turn into a box. He wears a colorful bead necklace, blue and white raglan crop top, and mom jeans that make him look like he wants to stand out. Yoongi has been staring at him and noting all this the whole time. His face looks too charming for people to forget. Yoongi can only hope he’s one of them, because he’s never interested in making friends.
“Bye,” Yoongi says. And he’s off.

“that’s my coffee.”
jungkook doesn’t hear him. he’s listening through the new bring me the horizon album, nose in his phone because hoseok is texting him some ridiculous story about his new arts TA, and he doesn’t hear him.
he glances up, makes a grab for the cup. someone touches his wrist, light fingertips. he blinks, eyes wide, and looks up.
“that’s my coffee,” he repeats, and jungkook stares.
this guy looks expensive. he’s in a suit that could honestly be worth more than jungkook’s entire closet, and jungkook wonders a little bit what the hell he’s doing in a tiny cafe downtown. he’s looking steadily at jungkook, palm held out in clear expectation.
jungkook bristles, a little. he’s not this guy’s assistant, or something.
and besides, he’s pretty sure it’s his coffee.
(or; jungkook meets Park Jimin, foremost CEO who owns half of korea, maybe, and very quickly has any and all of his expectations shattered.)
