There's a figure sitting there. Black shirt, sleeves pushed up. A backward cap. Skin a shade darker than the last time he saw him, marked with faint tan lines. Chapped lips, brows furrowed even in sleep. His body curled toward the bed, like he’d been keeping vigil. Like he hadn’t moved in hours.
Miya Osamu. Former boyfriend. Former best friend. Lives four hours away.
And yet, here he was. In Shizuoka. Apparently magically appeared out of nowhere to sit by Rintarou’s hospital bed.
In 2018, Miya Osamu picked up a call, drove four hours, and tried to untangle everything with his own two hands.

“What’s our plan for today?” he asks, turning to look at Suna.
Suna smirks, patting Osamu’s cheek lightly before answering. “Well, like we said in the last vlog, we bought a lot of local snacks to try, so we figured, why not do a taste test? After that, we’ll check out from the hotel, drive back to Naha, visit Naminoue Shrine, have lunch, and our last stop will be Makishi Market before heading to the airport. And that’s that. Any thoughts?”
Osamu hums, leaning back slightly. “Guess we have a full day ahead,”

Summary
That weekend, Osamu lost his virginity in the bottom bunk of Suna's dorm room, and he discovered that Suna really was as flexible as he looked.
Seven years since they opened the can of worms labelled "friends that fuck," and Osamu didn't know whether it was a blessing or a curse. On one hand, Suna had only gotten hotter. On the other hand, sex with Suna was always so much better than sex with anyone else that Osamu was finding it hard to be interested in people that weren't Suna.

Summary
The light of the fireworks illuminates his face, even from the side, he looks so good and Osamu wants to kiss him so bad. He wants to cradle his face in his hands, he wants to hold him in his arms and never let go. He wants to stare right into his eyes and say “I love you”- He abruptly stops his thoughts, eyes widening as he quickly looks away from Suna. A large firework erupts as if it’s timed and he comes to a realisation.
Oh, he thinks, is this what people call love?
