Summary
“What?” Jaden bewilders, to which Rejoice only waves at him, an unreadable expression on his face.
Wemmbu draws back from where he’s leaning and props an eyebrow at Egg, gesturing toward where Rejoice is standing and the so-called torture. Egg only gives a sparing look back, one hand doing a neck cutting motion, before he stretches straighter too.
What the hell is going on in those workshops? Wemmbu thinks bemusedly, just as Rejoice’s voice cuts by again.
or; tax duo and a coffee shop au to celebrate the series’ one year anniversary.

Summary
Maki’s words resound in his ears like crackling dry wood: “I don't want you to leave without doing something you’ll regret not doing later on.”
And who is Yuuta if not a mosaic of all his closest people’s advice and patience? Who is he if not someone who wants to stop mourning the misses in his life? He wants to live a little more, wants to have a little, a lot. He wants the tiny things, the mundane the not, over and over; wants something he can hold safely, sacredly. He wants to start anew.
or, there’s a lot of things Yuuta has to think about before he leaves for Africa, and he has exactly one night and one last watch-together with Toge to figure them out.

Summary
There's a hand on his chest again, gingerly clutching the fabric right above his heart. The warmth is almost immediate, Toge rolls in further. He doesn't have to think twice about what it means, or what the thin gap wants to say. He already knows.
Goodnight, Yuuta. I love you.
or, Yuuta realizes maybe he's more deserving of this than he thought.

I miss you.
The ink is still fresh when he pulls the quill away to look. Three tiny little words, eight wistful letters, spaced at the very top of their otherwise empty conversational page.

Summary
“It’s New Year’s,” Egg replies, finally.
Wemmbu’s oars dip a little too deep mid-motion, sending a sharper splash across the side of the boat. He steadies it quickly, frowning. “What?”
