It’s quiet…They haven’t spoken to each other since that morning, when Yuri went off to go see his tutor, and Otabek went off to do whatever the hell it was he did in the mornings before he hit the rink.
“You’re used to the noise?”

When Otabek found out that his new, super-hot roommate was a warlock, he asked him out. Not because he was a warlock, but because he was super hot. Otabek could own up to the fact that he'd always been weird - not quirky weird, but freaking out his parents and classmates because he could see things no one else could and didn't know how to keep his mouth shut weird.

The moment seemed to drag on forever. Yuri felt the bear’s heavy gaze on him, heard the rumbling grunt it let out as it poked at Yuri’s spine with its snout, its looming presence daunting.
“Stay away, little hunter. Your kind is not welcome here.”
