“You can call it cunnilingus, if you prefer,” Hermione offered, then refocused. “But…yes, I suppose I did.”
Malfoy stared at her as if she’d just declared herself not only a secret Pureblood but also a die-hard supporter of Voldemort.
She didn’t think it was truly that shocking that she’d want to teach him a thing or two, even if the subject happened to be rather personal.

Summary
When Draco stumbles upon a particularly nasty curse at work, Hermione's Friday evening plans suddenly go from a hot bath and a good book to staying late to help research a countercurse.
But Draco's ache only grows as the evening goes on. The pain and agony won't relent.
So Hermione offers to help him out. After all, it's what any good colleague would do.

Summary
Through a few forced breaths, Hermione manages to settle her nausea well enough to slide out of bed, squinting at the bright morning light. The braid of ribbons follows her left hand as she pulls the curtains closed, a giant knot of silver and gold that won’t shake free. While she works on unwinding them from her hand and arm, she checks the papers, finding the signatures she hoped they would be too drunk to remember to complete.
Unfortunately not. There they sit, sloppy and side by side.
Her’s a little cramped and rushed, his a little too large and loopy.
Her lungs squeeze tight. They actually did it. At some point between the first glass of nettle wine and the last bottle of Dragon Barrel brandy, it must have stopped being a joke.
She’s still wearing her dress from the night before, which fits the messy carnage that surrounds her. It’s wrinkled and a bit twisted around her waist, but at least it’s not tossed on the floor with the rest of her marriage licence.
The only thing missing is her apparent husband.

Summary
Hermione Granger does not make mistakes, at least not often. After making the biggest, dumbest, most horrible mistake of her life, Hermione must deal with the repercussions while keeping her relationship with her Auror partner, Draco Malfoy, strictly professional. He, of course, has other plans.
Amidst a resurgence in Death Eater activity, the likes of which Britain hasn’t seen since the First Wizarding War, Hermione will come to realize that the mistake she’s made with Draco might not be so bad at all. It just might be the best mistake.
