Just as he was finishing up admiring how hot he is, someone walked into the bathroom. He didn't necessarily care—he was more focused on himself—but he caught a glimpse of the person in the corner of his eye. The guy was holding something in his hand. He turned his head to look back at him, and guess what the guy had. No, guess.
A box of cigarettes.
Subong immediately turned his entire body around, eyes locked on the cigarette box in the guy's hand. He must've noticed Subong's staring because he looked directly at him and stopped walking. Subong's brain chemistry must've, like, changed completely or something because the way his heart started beating faster as soon as he saw a cigarette was contradicting his earlier statement about how he 'didn't want to smoke that bad anyways.' The words left his mouth before he could think about it. "Yo, let me get one of those." He forgot he was supposed to sound nice when he's asking for stuff, so he threw in a small "Please?" after basically demanding a cigarette.

He had never cared for a person in this way before. He had never… felt this way for someone else before- this desire to care for them, this sense of protectiveness and concern, this way that Su-bong was taking up space in his mind and in his heart. It was all so new to him, so strange and confusing, that he had no idea if he was doing any of it right; it frustrated and scared and angered him all at once, knowing that he wanted- he needed- to do something, but not knowing how.
He thought about something Su-bong had said, through his delirium the night before- “Maybe my divine intervention was this- finding my way back to you.” Nam-gyu wondered if Su-bong even remembered saying it, and if he did, if he had truly meant it. And if he had… Nam-gyu feared that he might only end up disappointing the both of them.
__A sequel to “i am here and i’ll lead you home”, where Nam-gyu and Su-bong learn to navigate their lives after the games, while trying to understand this new relationship growing between them, and their feelings for each other.

"You know him?" Thanos asks as he tries to think of his own lyrics to go with the track that's still playing. "He produce for real, or is this a favor type thing?" Doesn't matter either way. Thanos has got a damn gift when it comes to getting people to do shit for him.
"That's the thing," Semi groans with a downright strange amount of frustration. "The guy's name is Namgyu, I'm pretty sure, and he's a composer. Like, the classical stuff at the beginning, that was his."
Thanos nods, even though he doesn't really get why she's saying this shit like she's reading him a prison sentence ending in the electric chair. "Soo...?" He asks slowly. "If he made that, he can definitely do the producing shit, too. It's just a different genre." It's true. As long as he's got an ear for what's good, and knows how to work the fancy ass machines, then Thanos should be solid.
"Well, the issue is that he would never do it," she shrugs.
"He'd do it for me," Thanos waves off. It's not even cocky or some shit. All he's got to do is hook the guy up with girls or drugs or an oil change, and he should be fine. "Why wouldn't he?"

Summary
The meal arrived, placed in front of Namgyu on a silver platter, perfectly presented, and he had to resist the urge to sweep it onto the floor, or slam his fist into the porcelain. He didn't deserve it, for one, but also, he didn't want to take anything offered by these faceless, nameless gods. He knew what this was. A final meal, celebrating the demise of everyone else, and a toast to whichever one of them was next to go.
It didn't taste like much. Objectively, he knew it was probably one of the best things he'd ever eat, reeking of wealth and needless indulgence, but his mouth was limp, tastebuds numbed like he'd burned his tongue. He could barely bring himself to chew, all the life drained out of him, but it didn't really matter. The meat practically melted in his mouth. He couldn't choke himself with it if he tried, and the thought made rage bubble up inside him. The sudden urge to slit his throat with the steak knife, to let himself bleed out on the pretty tablecloth, was horrifying, made him jolt upright, heart pounding. What had they done to him?Or, Thanos and Namgyu find themselves in the last game. Together.
