Summary
I never know just where to begin when writing about the Wooster doings. There are some birds who know me soup to nuts, but there are also some eggs that are not quite in on Bertram’s complete oeuvre. Summary
The first time is slow and reverent, gentle and oh so solicitous. He sits back on his heels and looks at her, gazing at her as if at an idol. He brings his lips to her, his hand grasps hers, and his thumb circles her hand simply. He breaks away a few times to talk to her, murmuring loving words against her thigh. Her ears are trained to understand him — she has always been attuned to him — so she makes out the words without much trouble, but she hears them, too, in the movement of his lips against her.
