Summary
After suffering an injury at the hands of Terry Milkovich, Mickey comes to learn that hospital stays don't have to be all bad as long as you have a hot nursing assistant to keep you company.
Meanwhile, Mickey struggles to remember the fate of his sister at the hands of his father and can't understand why everyone around him is acting so strangely about it.

Summary
“Are you actually suggesting what I think you’re suggesting? You think Lord Gallagher would take in two dirty teenage runaway Milkoviches out of the goodness of his heart?”
“No.” Ian says slowly. “No, I don’t think that at all.”
“So what then?”
He takes another breath. He can already feel the hostility, but he might as well finish getting it out. “You could… You and Mandy could… work for us.”
The suggestion is met with a profound silence.
------------------
Ian is the second son of Lord Francis Gallagher. Mickey is a local grubby petty criminal that steals fruit from the Gallagher’s orchard. When they meet, Ian knows he will do anything to make sure Mickey stays in his life, and he suspects Mickey feels the same. But trying to carry on a secret homosexual affair with a grumpy, emotionally immature man of significantly lower status than you is hard enough in the 1910s without abusive fathers, arranged marriages, and world wars getting in the way.
Or the Shameless / Downton Abbey crossover no one asked for.

Summary
Ian’s always been used to the cold. He knows it like the back of his hand, which is why he finds himself at home on the ice skating rink. Figure skating means being surrounded by a kind of cold he doesn’t have to shut out or run away from — a kind of cold he can make his own. When he runs into Mickey on the way to work in Boystown, he doesn’t expect them to have much in common, even when he realises Mickey has been watching him skate from afar for years. But Mickey sees the rink as an escape and a second home just like he does, a way to cover up the bruises left behind by his family with ones left by clumsy teammates and aggressive opponents. They quickly find themselves intertwined, what was meant to be a fun hook-up snowballing into something warmer and safer.

Summary
Matt just rolls his eyes and takes a swig of his own beer. “It’s just something we say to freak each other out. Sure, it’s a creepy house, but ghosts don’t exist.”
“I’m just saying,” Ian starts, knowing he’s not going to be able to backtrack from this one, “that I’ve seen the ghost.” It’s concerning how much of a lightweight he is when he’s not flushing his meds down the toilet.
Twenty-three year old Ian Gallagher goes into a supposedly haunted house on a dare. He ends up getting more than he bargained for when the house draws him in, and the things he finds inside are not what they seem.
