Summary
Who would give her dry flowers?
No one sat in that empty space by her feet, waiting with bated breath for Beth to wake up – no Maggie tightly clutching her mama’s hand, no Shawn with his sturdy gaze and teasing quips about how awful she probably looked, no Daddy reading his bible as he sat vigil by her side, no Daryl restlessly pacing the room while he tore apart his cuticles with his teeth. Beth could picture them all, exactly as they should be, and it was so real she almost believed it. But she blinked, and they were gone again. No one was here with her.
She shifted her eyes back to the man, and noticed that he had flowers as well. Pink flowers in an ugly blue and white vase.
They were dried up too.
Beth wakes up in an empty hospital next to a man she doesn't know, with an injury she can't remember, and no family to greet her. The world seems to have burned down around them, but she and this man - this Rick Grimes, are determined to get the hell out of dodge, and hopefully get back to their families in one piece.

Summary
A rewrite of The Walking Dead, in the A/B/O world. However I am mostly focusing on Daryl, and his life as an Omega. I still wanted to clearly have the world itself be A/B/O. There is canon divergence, a few pairings that change and of course just some fun times. I don’t own any of the characters, the world in which A/B/O is set is clearly not my own but there will be some of my own A/B/O canon. I hope you enjoy it!
Just so you know - I am going to be attempting all the season, timelines will be changed (who knows the true TWD timeline anyway), relationships will be swapped, ages maybe fudged, and some things may be fudged or swapped, characters may be in a place they weren’t or removed from a place they were. Characters will live/die earlier later
A note -
Omegas are extremely rare
Betas have been able to sometimes successfully carry an Alphas pup to full term but it was rare in the world of hospitals and sterilization, so it is harder now in the apocalypse.Some A/B/O worlds have an age in which pups show their alignment, in mine they are aligned with their second gender at birth, however Omegas present as beta until their first heat which usually takes place at ages 8-10

Summary
The zombie apocalypse couldn't have come at a worse time for Daryl. His implant is set to expire soon and with the world slowly devolving into chaos, it would be harder than ever to be an Omega without any sort of hormone suppressant. His brother Merle has been helping him mask his scent but when a new Alpha comes back in Merle's place from the group's supply run into Atlanta, Daryl has to figure out how to be a part of a group while hiding what he is for as long as possible.
