Summary
At twenty-one years old, the concept of having children feels like a far away dream to Sirius. He’s too preoccupied with finishing university, struggling to pay rent, and loving on his delicious boyfriend, Remus Lupin, to think about settling down. He doesn’t even know how he’ll afford dinner next week, let alone feed an extra mouth.
Then his parents die, and he learns he has a tiny baby sibling in the NICU who needs him. Suddenly, all he can think about is being a parent. Good thing his parents left him everything in their will, including their exorbitant wealth.
But Sirius knows better than most that it takes more than money to be a good parent.
And he will be a good father. His baby deserves nothing less.

They stand in silence for a bit - which Remus realises is becoming a bit of a theme - surveying the dissolving letters, letting their shoulders brush with the sway of the breeze.
Salty. The breeze is salty. Not as strong as Aurora had implied, but he can definitely smell it now.
“It’s salty.” Remus twists his neck slightly, leans his head backwards, “do you just learn to live with it?”
“Guess so.” James answers, “I reckon I’ve noticed it a bit more since you’ve been here, though.”
“..Yeah? Why’s that?”

Remus, never been the best in anything. Maybe potions, but then again Lily and Snape usually had him there. Ever since he started attending Hogwarts. He was always overshadowed. Never his best friend, never the kindest or the most athletic. He didn't know it, but he craved for someone to fill that void and make him feel like he was enough. James, he always has so much pressure on him to be the best to be the fastest and the strongest, when really he just wants someone else to take that control from him. To take that pressure off him and just tell him what to do. When to do it, how rough or how soft to do it. To summarize, he likes being bossed around. Directly combating that, his boyfriend, Regulus has never had control. His parents, the dark Lord, anyone but him have always made choices for him. He's never been allowed to do it himself. So he gets most turned on by having control over his partners
