Summary
A little one-shot I did for the magnificent sometimesimeow based on her series 'Tales of Snow and Madness'. Her stories got me through a bad month and I am so blessed to have a mind that allows me to think up these rather crazy ideas and bring them to life. I couldn't stop thinking about what could be if Ghost and Gray Wind followed in the footsteps of their masters and decided to have their own litter of pups. Also, Ghost is a girl in this one. Jon is pregnant with his third child, Bran can't wait to see Jojen in the Neck, and Eddard and Daeron are just innocent little Stark bastards.

Summary
Struggling medical student John Watson is on his way home when a shadowy figure crosses his path into an alleyway. Figuring it's a teen trying not to get caught out late at night he goes home not thinking about it again. But in the morning his curiosity gets the better of him and he searches that same alleyway, only to find a homeless teen hybrid, living on the street. A homeless hybrid is illegal and will be snatched up, taken to an adoption center or worse, found by someone with bad intentions. What is John to do?

He was set up, meant to sound like a fool no matter how he answered, and he does not appreciate rude conversational traps like that. He does not appreciate anything about this situation. He does not appreciate the small, crooked, tight-lipped smile that flashes across Thorin’s face at his response, and he does not appreciate the way it makes his stomach drop.

Bilbo didn't care what Mister Proudfoot said, he was sure that he had a baby dragon. This belief only grew when the dragon began to hoard things. Shiny things. A glass bead, a shiny silver spoon, his father's spectacles were an obsessive favorite. Ember would always take them straight back to the fireplace and lay on them in the fire, but Bilbo scolded him harshly and told him that stealing things was bad, and he shouldn't take things that didn't belong to him, then made the dragon give them back. The little dragon was so sad about this that Bilbo gave him his bag of marbles, which Ember examined happily in great detail. Since shiny objects were apparently something his dragon needed in order to be happy, and he didn't want the little one stealing, Bilbo went around to the neighbors, collecting old bottles, and beads and brass and silver buttons, bits of copper and slivers of tin and steel and anything else shiny that they didn't want anymore, broken brooches, rusted old tools, chipped teacups, jewelry chains that were broken and tangled beyond recovery, an earring that had long ago lost its pair, a silver ring that no one wanted, and six pairs of broken spectacles that Ember hoarded fiercely.

“Who’s been to see you?” He asks, taking a single photo of the flowers with their drooping stems and curled petals and the wet winter grass that surrounds them. His mother would call it kind, his father might say it's curious, and Bilbo takes another petal to tuck into his pocket.

Thorin squeezed his eyes closed and wished that he was dead. His Gods-damned sister had ‘borrowed’ the private jet to hop across to the Maldives with her sons on a whim, and had ‘forgotten’ to tell him about it. Again.
Save that this time, Thorin had actually had an urgent business meeting to attend, over in bloody New York, and flying commercial was a personal trial on many levels. Firstly. Bloody Heathrow. Secondly. The teeming masses. Not even Singapore’s Changi Airport, which had a hotel lobby-like First Class check-in facility, had quite worked out how to minimise contact with the hordes of humanity, and Heathrow certainly fucking hadn’t. Thirdly. The godsdamned holiday season and its unashamedly commercial thrust of lurid ‘good’ cheer, obnoxious jingles and all.
He was going to murder Dís whenever he next saw her.
