Summary
Grace Joan Swan. Quite the opposite yet so similar to her older sister. She was on the more introverted side, she was at peace that she didn't have friends, she liked a drama-less life. She wasn't "fragile", she hated being referred to as a "sick child". She's what her mother calls a "miracle child", having been dead for 10 minutes once birthed. This of course led to health complications growing up that she got used to and thankfully (for her sanity) got better.
Her being a "sick" child growing up means that she was damn near coddled her whole life. She was grateful, but fuck. Even a "sick" kid grows tired of being restricted from normal activities. So when she was given the option to either stay with her mother and her husband in the heat that was Phoenix Arizona, or move with her sister into their dad's house in Forks in Washington, she sure as hell packed her bags, she really missed her dad. Moving to Forks was met with cold and wet weather, a childhood acquaintance who has a bit of an obsession with her older sister, a new school with a strange family of adopted siblings, and a coffee-eyed boy with a short temper just as short as her social skills. She knew life was different now. -

Hero Intern Deku: Our Next Savior, or the Catalyst of Hero Society’s Downfall?

Like • Comment • ShareIt’s been a month since Hosu City was rocked with attacks from the newest villain group, the League of Villains, and Hero Intern Deku’s (unranked) takedown of the serial killer Stain, his first S ranked villain arrest. Pro Hero media is a mess of differing opinions on Deku, ranging from idolization to condemnation. Fan clubs and hate clubs alike have popped up online. Despite his rousing speech in Hosu and his call to action, Deku has been notably absent from the public eye in any meaningful way.
With tensions high and no word from the one at the heart of all the chaos, the question must be asked: just what the hell is Hero Intern Deku doing?
(Honestly? His best.)

Izuku has plans for everything.
He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.
For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.
Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.
(Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)
