UPDATE: I was rereading Not a Prime Situation and I knew that I had it on my mind when I was writing this but I didn't realize how much of it I was inspired by. This fic is inspired by that as well and I think everyone should check it out, it's one of if not the best optimus centric fic I've ever read

"Please do not feel obligated," Optimus offered carefully. "If this causes you distress-"
"It causes him character development," Miko cut in cheerfully, elbowing Jack in the guts.
Raf nodded solemnly. "And lifelong embarrassment."
Jack groaned and buried his face in his hands. "This is a human rights violation."

this made my heart SHATTER. I am an absolute sucker for Optimus/Orion breaking down and being vulnerable. this fic captured the burden and grief that came with his role so well. i can hear the characters voices in my head so clearly.

Summary
(Rewrite and extension of Febuwhump Day 10: Magic Exhaustion.)
An exploration around the Malto's property goes awry when Bumblebee and the Terrans stumble upon a magical pond that appears to have a singular ability: turn whoever touches it young.
Consequently, the Terrans have to deal with a significantly younger Bumblebee - B-127 - with a heightened sense of self-importance and attitude. Confusion gripping all sides of the fiasco, the group of sparklings desperately search for a way to restore him to the mentor they know, all while trying to navigate their new and terrifying relationship.
Not that B-127's helping make things easier.

though it hurts to read optimus be a bad parent even if its ES optimus (oof, ES,,,,, opinions on that show,,,) this was such a heartbreaking read and I wish b127 got more time with the maltos and had time to learn how to be a kid but im glad that he knew towards the end. a wonderful fic !!!!

Summary
A space bridge accident strands both Optimus Prime and Starscream on an unknown planet, filled with mechanical monsters. Once Starscream decides that immediately stabbing Optimus in the back is a bad idea, the two form an uneasy alliance. Just until they can get off this hostile world.
But cooperation breeds grudging appreciation (and even more grudging attraction). Each uncovered secret on this mystery world brings them closer to returning to endless war. Can they keep fighting as if nothing has changed? Or will they take the chance for something new?
