Summary
All roads lead to something. Leorio thought he had a pretty good grasp of where his was going: med school, doctor, cures, fortune. But a trip on a frozen night to the old library on Fourth Street opens a whole new set of roads, ones that lead to sweltering jungles and ones that turn winter into spring and fall. Roads where one wrong step would trap him in an endless loop. Roads that Leorio’s not sure if they even end at all.
But mostly, Leorio wants to get to know the blond librarian a little better, even if it means falling into a world where magic grows into everything and no one is as they seem: not his friends, not his school, and certainly not Kurapika.

Summary
He doesn’t run into his parents in the end, instead, he runs into Holly.
Holly. Who Mike hadn’t actually seen since he was eighteen years old. Holly, who when he left was nine years old. He had gotten her a set of those Babysitters Club books for Christmas and Will had thrown in a packet of shiny coloured pencils, the kind that have more than one colour in each pencil; Mike’s not sure she ever read the books but he knows she loved the pencils, you could see it in her eyes.
The Holly he left in 1989 wasn’t the Holly he ran into in Bradley’s Big Buy (how it’s still open is beyond him) early Saturday morning, two and a half months after he and Will moved back to Hawkins. He barely recognised her at first, more concerned with picking up coffee for the Hopper-Byers House than anything going on around him, with Joyce at work and Will and El shuttling Hopper to an appointment household errands seemed to have fallen on him.
or
how a bad fall, a mistimed grocery run and a handful of back luck lands mike right back in hawkins after seven years, and worse even, right in front of the one person he truly left behind, holly.

Summary
Thus came the final question. It was arguably the easiest, though if anyone asked Will, it was the most anxiety-inducing of all.
Where the hell were the Byers supposed to go?
The answer, theoretically, was simple. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Joyce and El would take up residence at Hopper’s cabin. Due to the limited space, Jonathan was relegated to an air mattress in the living room. Of course, it was hardly ideal for a grown man like him, but he was hardly one to complain. Then, by all logic, Will should have wound up sharing the air mattress with him. But because things were never that easy, that wasn’t what ended up happening.
Because the universe absolutely hates Will, he ends up staying at the Wheelers’.
In the aftermath, Will finds the answer to his question.

Summary
“I feel like you used to tell me things,” Mike says.
Will looks away from his Walkman, back to Mike. It’s almost startling, finding him already looking back. “I – tell you things,” he replies, a little awkwardly. He barely gets through the sentence before Mike is already shaking his head.
"No,” he frowns, “you – you used to tell me things. Like, stuff you wouldn’t tell everyone else.” He seems conflicted, and he looks away. “Stuff just between us.”
Will doesn’t know where to begin.
Will tries to navigate a conversation with a freshly-broken-up-with Mike.
