"I'm going to tear you apart." He says, and means it. He imagines leaning forward to lick the crimson of Dabi's tears off his cheeks until it makes him whine; nothing stops him so he does. Dabi tries, pushes at his chest, and mutters,
"Stop, Hawks. Get off." Hawks doesn't listen - they have a word for if he truly means it after all. Instead, he grabs Dabi, hot and heavy, around the waist to pull his legs directly against his crotch before he uses his talons to scrape against the staples stitching his head together, insisting, "Oh, I will."
The platform boot that hits him is a surprise. Dabi's retreating back is even more of a surprise and his limping run triggers something beyond horny in his primal brain - mate is trying to leave.
Break his legs. Prove we love him.

"I'm not dependent on you anymore," Hawks continued. Now, that got him a really sharp glance from Dabi. A warning. "I don't need you anymore. Even if you want to cast me out, I'm too useful to the PLF for just your word and whims to accomplish that."
"Don't push your fucking luck," Dabi growled.
Eyes open wide and grinning wildly, Hawks advanced toward Dabi. "But it's true. Even if you decide to ignore me from now on, I'm in. I'll still be in. So..." He closed his fist into Dabi's jacket to yank him closer, eyes falling to his lips. "Are you finally going to believe me, when I say I want you?"
The only way for Dabi to believe that Hawks really wants him is for Hawks to no longer need him, first.

He waves her off, utterly despondent. “Rums, you don’t understand how good it was. I’d give up a couple organs right now to eat that well again.”

Dabi looks at Hawks batting his lashes, sitting on the couch in his hideous Gucci sweater. Christ, Dabi can’t stop looking at it. It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”
Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.
