Summary
Jisung stupidly stares at his door for a very long time.
Another loud knock snaps him out of it, and he finally brings himself to wrap his fingers around the doorknob and twist it. He cracks the door open painfully slowly and steps outside.
And stares.
Minho grins at him, his beautiful eyes softening as they take in Jisung’s pink teddy-bear printed pyjamas (ahem).
Minho, Jisung's best friend of ten years. Who lives a few hundred miles away. Standing of front of Jisung’s door and just fucking grinning at him.
Jisung is going to die.
or, Jisung has a huge crush on Minho, and Minho shows up out of the blue to drag Jisung all around the city just because he misses him.

Jisung flinched, though he didn’t let it show. He remained still, rigid, muscles coiled, posture controlled. Even in that moment of unease, he refused to break.
“Yes, Captain.”
Or: seven years after their breakup, Minho and Jisung cross paths again in the middle of a war. Jisung has nothing yet to lose—the war has taken his wife, his daughter, and the life he once tried to build. Minho, meanwhile, has become someone else entirely. He’s a captain now, carved into something harder by duty, and survival.

Summary
Jisung shrugs, all too casual. “Just for fun. You know, for the bit.”
“You want us to pretend to be a couple…in therapy. Just for fun.”
“Yeah!” Jisung nods enthusiastically. "Just until the therapist figures it out.”
Minho gives him a long, slow look that suggests he is currently measuring him for a straitjacket. “So. Two sessions, max.”
It’s supposed to be a joke– two best friends and roommates walk into a therapist’s office, and pretend they’re a couple until the therapist figures it out.
But old feelings die harder than old habits, and when everything they’ve been avoiding for five years finally catches up, Minho and Jisung start to realize they may not be pretending as much as they'd like to believe.
or: Minho and Jisung are not a couple– or so they think.
