Summary
After a career-ending injury at the Olympic finals, Regulus Black ran away from everything he had ever known—figure skating, his brother, and New England—to start over in Arizona where no one knew his name or how hard he had fallen.

Summary
Going into their last year of study at the University of Manchester, Sirius and Remus have been dancing around a blooming crush for the last few years. Everything comes to a head right before their last fall term together and both boys think they’ve made a terrible mistake.
“What do you think it means?” Sirius’s voice is quiet, just above the music. Remus turns, coming face to face with him. His hazel eyes are glassy, gaze soft as it flits over Sirius’s face.
“What do you mean?” When Remus asks, Sirius’s brows furrow, the slice through his right eyebrow almost disappearing.
“Fate up against your will,” Sirius repeats almost reverently.
Remus bites his lip, the movement drawing Sirius’s eyes towards it.
“It’s inevitable.” His voice is soft, bordering husky.

He is very much not here to fall for a dramatic illustrator with a deadline and a god complex.So when Harry walks in wearing sunglasses inside and snapping gum in Louis’ face, it’s just another customer to tolerate. He talks too much, complains loudly, and Louis is positive he’s never met anyone more annoying in his life.
It should've ended there, it doesn't.

“Sirius,” Remus’ eyes are still closed. He’s groggy – has no idea what time it is, it could be six, could be ten. Neither of them have any real reason to get out of bed, with no schedule and nowhere particularly important to be. Maybe they could stand to take advantage of their free run of the apartment, what with James gone. But they can do that and sleep in.
“Sirius,” Remus repeats with a groan this time. He’s squirming, rolling from his back to his side to his back again. It's disturbing his peace. Remus rolls blindly toward him and wraps an arm around his waist, dragging him closer.
Sirius goes still with a huff.
“What’s got you so worked up?” He hides his smile against Sirius’ bare shoulder. His skin is warm with sleep, where their chests are pressed together he can feel the quick hammer of Sirius' heart.
“You know what,” Sirius complains, but doesn’t fight against the arm around his waist.
Or,
Remus and Sirius have the house to themselves for the first time in a long time, and they intend to make the most of it.

He sighed and tried to open his eyes again. “Dare.”
“Brilliant!” James swayed against the wall he was leaning on, “I dare you to text this number!” He said, pointing to the wall next to the farthest mirror.
He walked over to the wall, finding the number written in blocky black Sharpie with 'Text for a good time' and something slightly resembling a winky face doodled underneath it.
Sirius started typing…
