Summary
Wade's Inconvenient Feelings about Logan aren't going away. In point of fact, they are getting worse.
Sometimes Wade wakes up in the morning and Logan has inched closer to him in the night, so they're touching--sometimes one of Logan's whole big meaty arms is flopped over Wade's chest or stomach or back, even. Damn near a proper cuddle. And Wade doesn't move, fuck, he hardly breathes, he just lies there, electrified and tingling everywhere their skin is in contact. Scared to let on that he's awake, scared to wake Logan up and cut the moment short.
He feels like a creep. He can't stop.

“There’s nothing to say, Elliebear,” he replies, a pinch of sadness sneaking its way into his tone. He swallows it quickly. “Our baby boy is growing up, no more training wheels, wings all ready to fly. Gotta let ‘em leave the nest eventually, nugget. Don’t worry,” he says as he pulls one of the heavy doors open, “you’ll be able to visit whenever you want.”
He keeps the rest of his thoughts to himself: That the X-Men don't hate her, just her dad. That she'll have an open invitation, and he’ll be lucky to get supervised visitation rights. Assuming Logan wants those at all.

Logan gets invited to move into the X-Mansion, and Wade definitely doesn't crash out about it.

“Do you like it, sweetheart?” It’s not even remotely an explanation or an answer; evasive and slippery as Wade always is. He tightens one arm around Logan’s waist, bringing his other hand up to rub over his chest, roughly comforting. The way you’d pet a dog.
“I don’t—,” he gasps brokenly, breath catching in his throat. “I don’t know.” It’s too much. It’s not enough. He never wants to see Wade again. He wants to crawl inside his ribcage and make a home there.(Wade soft doms Logan into submission; Logan realizes he likes being a lap puppy)
