Summary
Marazhai Aezyrraesh, former Dracon of the Reaving Tempest, leaves the place he calls home. After losing his position and status, he gives up future and familiarity in an attempt to save his own life, pledging it to the service of Korina Von Valancius, Rogue Trader, the Emperor's annointed.
Yrliet Lanaevyss has lost her own home too. The Craftworld that saw her born was destroyed in a great cataclysm that claimed the lives of countless of her kin. She allied with the same Rogue Trader who dragged Marazhai out of Commmoragh.This is the rest of their story. What happens to two lost Aeldari, two strays fighting to find a home again - and who might end up finding it in each other.

My fellow servant in the God-Emperor's Holy Inquisition,
I pray that the light of Holy Terra guard you from xenoheresy.Very rarely are the works that the Aeldari of the darker kind write for themselves translated. Not only are these ramblings utterly unpalatable, they are mostly treatises and manuals on how to extract pain and construct torturer's tools.
Despite this, a sanctioned and therefore mute xenos in possession of one of our esteemed colleagues did transcribe a number of works. These are of a different kind. It seems that they actually do possess some form of "canon" that the more, let's say pampered of them, will learn during their education.I do not see exactly why you attempt to familiarise yourself with the mindset of creatures whose only fate should be annihilation. Despite that, I will slowly forward you the pieces that I managed to retrieve from the inhuman wretch.
May the Emperor guide your heart for His purpose.

Summary
Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
After the events that saw him become Lord Inquisitor, Heinrix Van Calox and Rogue Trader Tavia Von Valancius each went their own way, but managed to keep their love alive - for a while. Time and distance are devastating forces, and combined with their duties it pulled them apart in a slow, painful erosion. Every meeting they promised to meet again but never knew when, and the parting words increasingly felt like lies. Until one day, the thread linking them snapped.
This fic narrates the aftermath of a series of bad decisions, lots of emotional pain, a wedding, a sad wank, and a sliver of hope.

Gabrielle already knew that the Drukhari, as much as they liked to think of themselves as masterminds, were insanely predictable when it came to naming their things. So the fact it sounded bad was almost normal. They probably had something called an excruciator, a tormentor and a pain breadknife. Still, she braced herself.
It still somehow felt alright to participate. She didn't know why, but somehow that trial was quite stressful, and helping everyone relax, why not? She felt quite relaxed. Still, it was one thing to have been treated to a little demonstration when she woke up to Kharael on his knees in front of Marazhai. It was another entirely to be expected to participate in it."On route to Lucin's Breath, dreams aboard the voidship take on a very special tint for Gabrielle Von Valancius. What exactly happened while she was brought unconscious to Marazhai's trial?
