“Everything, idiot,” he snarls, causing the man to frown. Shit. “The fucking—compliments and stuff.”
Only then does Kirishima straighten, eyes wide and imploring. He’s contemplating something, tiny brows pinched together as he chews his lower lip. “Because it’s true, Bakugou,” he settles on, soft voice sending a shudder down Bakugou’s spine. “All of it is and I like telling you.”

He can see colour goddammit, he can taste it, see it, and feel it — it’s cherries and apples and cranberries and tomatoes and chillies lanterns that he’s lit up in Summer Festivals and it’s of firetrucks and ladybugs and watermelons and blood and dragons and death and fear and terror and hunger.
“I’m Kirishima Eijirou.” The guy extends his arm out for a handshake, “I’m new at the Cross.” He smiles, and Bakugou finds that it comes easy for him: his eyes crinkle up and he flashes a row of razor teeth and his brows push up and it’s bright, it’s friendly, it’s kind, it’s revolting.
