Summary
Regulus Black is a qualified neurology doctor and training to become a neurosurgeon at only 23. Having moved back to London to escape his parents after they moved to France when he was 15, Regulus is doing fine. He’s qualified, he’s already progressing his career, has a great set of friends, and is building a solid reputation as one of London’s best young doctors. He hasn’t spoken to Sirius since his older brother ran away over seven years ago and he doesn’t care, because he doesn’t speak to any of his family anymore and after all, Sirius was the one who left him behind.
And then James Potter walks in to the ward one day to give his mother some lunch, claiming that all hospital food is an abomination, and everything comfortable in Regulus’ life comes crashing down.

Jayce doesn't need him to finish. His face is already burning, the reality of what just happened sinking in with every second Viktor keeps staring at him.
He collapses onto the mattress beside Viktor, covering his face with his hands. Maybe if he stays like this long enough, he'll simply cease to exist. It's preferable to looking at Viktor right now.

Robby, who would not stop touching him. The friendly pats on the back were one thing, but another was the way he would hold onto Dennis’s arm or shoulder like he was puppeting him, like he owned him.
Rationalizing it didn't help. Every time Robby touched him, he got turned on.

Regulus’ gaze moves to the gun again, and he says one more thing. “Now you can do the job. Just let me…” He trails off as his mouth opens fully and puts his mouth around the gun.

Summary
Remus was Sirius's. Everyone knew this, everyone went by it. Remus belong to Sirius so much that when you said one of their names you'd immediately expect the other right after that. Sirius was so close to Remus you could practically smell him on the tall boy.
Though what people tend to forget, is that the star Regulus was far closer to the moon than the star Sirius.

Regulus went to tell the Ministry about what he discovered, unfortunately he was sent to Azkaban before he would warn them. Memories become nightmares and Regulus was not made to survive Azkaban. By the time Sirius manages to visit him, Regulus' sanity and health have long since fled. With Regulus no longer able to access his long term memories, and struggling to maintain short-term memory, the Marauders chip in to help raise Regulus so they might try to find out just what he wanted to tell the Ministry.

“I’m in a meeting, baby. Not right now,” Jayce murmurs. Viktor glances around at the members of the board like he’s just noticing them now. Every single one looks away under his stare, which is equally penetrating as Jayce’s, his golden eyes sharp and hawklike.
Viktor sighs, seemingly annoyed at the presence of the others, as though he expects Jayce to clear the room for them this instant. Which he absolutely would do, Viktor just has to say the word. Jayce would do anything for him. If Viktor asks for a private jet, or a country for himself, or for the very world to stop turning, Jayce would drop everything and make it happen. But Viktor doesn’t. He asks for traditional Czech food from a hole-in-the-wall diner, for nice suits to wear to events with Jayce, and mostly for his doting and attention. That’s plenty.
