So this was a totally stream-of-consciousness first attempt at a Red Hot Chili Peppers fanfic. John Frusciante is freshly 18, new to the band, and struggling with some burgeoning loving feelings towards his idol, bandmate, bully, and bestie: Anthony Kiedis. His insecurity gets the better of him one drunken night and the truth comes out after a game of strip poker. Sounds cliche? It might be, but I hope it's evocative. Featuring cameos by Dave Navarro, Flea, and Chad Smith, this story is a snapshot of John and Anthony's first sexual meeting. Angst, love, and eroticism balance on the edge of a knife... but this is just another night for Anthony Kiedis.
** UPDATE: This became a full-length novel and has morphed into a coming-of-age story centering around John and his growth through his relationships with Anthony and Dave. Hope you all enjoy!

I just want readers to understand that these characters were not simply lifted from one universe and plopped into another. Their behaviors as individuals and the way they interact with each other will be different and based less in reality since this is an AU fantasy fic!*
