He didn’t want to leave. What if Kaoru needed something and he couldn’t get it? Or if the feelings started to swallow him and Kojiro couldn’t help because he wasn’t there? He was afraid to leave him alone in his condition. So he pulled a soft white blanket out of the drawer in the coffee table and settled down onto the couch. It was a bit too small for him so it wasn’t really comfortable, but it would work for one night. It was only one night; it wasn’t like he was moving in or anything.

Beyond the grey, the mountains that towered above them were green—so vibrantly green. All of them looming up and up until they disappeared amongst the foggy wisp-like clouds. Yet on the other side, the sea spread magnificently towards the ends of the world. The line where sea met sky was blurred into a mesh of cerulean.
They cruised silently, both content with the tranquility that settled between the two. Iwaizumi focused on driving. Oikawa drowned in his thoughts.
