“I mean, I hope so.” Bennett chuckles. The moon’s glow illuminates his face, tiny shadows forming with each little crinkle of motion. “We can dream, right?”

Summary
The first thing Weiss notices are the eyes. Silver – mysterious and unknowing like a dark ocean before the peeking of light. But also wild; a prowling thunderstorm, almost, ready to strike at a moment’s notice. And Weiss can’t help but stare, and take it all in. Because what the hell else is she supposed to do?
Or: Weiss feels alive again, and Ruby loves it.

[Guys, all of the multiple DCU canons and reboots and alternate timelines (because of flashpoint or just because of reasons) give me a headache. So, I wrote this whole thing about timelines and universes bleeding into each other. Some of it's past canon or current canon but from different mediums and most of it I just made up.]

Asuka’s in her pajamas – ratty sweatpants and her lacrosse jersey with SORYU emblazoned on the back in big black letters. She doesn’t seem to notice the cold, but Rei still wishes she’d brought an extra jacket for her, even if Asuka would turn her nose up at it in some strange act of defiance against someone loving her.
