So, I wrote this whole thing about timelines and universes bleeding into each other. Some of it's past canon or current canon but from different mediums and most of it I just made up.]

Asuka’s in her pajamas – ratty sweatpants and her lacrosse jersey with SORYU emblazoned on the back in big black letters. She doesn’t seem to notice the cold, but Rei still wishes she’d brought an extra jacket for her, even if Asuka would turn her nose up at it in some strange act of defiance against someone loving her.

This is a problem the junior detective had hoped to avoid altogether - facing off with one Kanji Tatsumi during the ski trip that was planned to spend some more time with Yu-senpai before he left. All of this wouldn't be a huge problem, if not for the indisputable fact that Kanji-kun had already announced he would show her how to ski - or with her knowledge that he was interested in her. Compounded was all of this by the uneasy feeling she got whenever she contemplated this situation. Was she... was she falling for him?

Okay, fine, so Zuko was hot. Who cares? Not Katara. She certainly didn’t think that the healing cut across his face made him look dashing. That was some romance novel nonsense, and Katara only read those in secret. She certainly would never allow herself to think such things.
High School AU: Katara is a gifted student obsessed with track and field. Then Zuko shows up to mess up all her best-laid plans with his stupid, hot, annoying self.
