There was a constant truth to the universe that persisted even through time and space:
Dreams were not your own.
Except, Sampo had never shared his dreams with anyone. All he had were the creations of his own unfortunate mind, and an Aeon-fuelled will to never sleep at all in order to escape it.
In comparison, Gepard had spent her entire life being told to forget about the fantastical nature of the dreams she saw. There was a certain image that came with being Gepard Landau, you see, and anything that fell out of place had to be quickly swept under the rug. Her dreams and her scars and her wants.
Because Gepard wanted. She wanted a soulmate who would stay. She wanted to not be plagued by war. She wanted to be a man. It didn't matter, though. Gepard had to remind herself this:
She could want for eternity, but in the end she could not have.
Right?

Alternatively: How Sampo and Gepard share a dream and slowly come to realise all the ways they're intertwined. With a few bumps along the way, of course.

Summary
Sampo Koski dies exactly the way he suspected he would: killed by an old customer with a grudge. It's nothing spectacular, nothing crazy, nothing sad. Really, it's unimportant, so he'd prefer if you just didn't ask, okay?
He'd had his affairs in order, as is necessary at the ripe old age of 24, so he really didn't leave behind any regrets. Not a one, no sir. This old rat was entirely happy with his life, his actions, and his non-existent "legacy".
So, imagine his surprise when, after closing his eyes for the final time after after laughing himself off the face of the earth, getting blood on the floor of his dingy old safehouse apartment, Sampo Koski wakes up again in a cozy warm bed.
... and after he'd already finished his gorey, overly dramatic exit. Really, how embarrassing!

Everything in Black Hole’s gut told him this was a bad idea. Alarm bells were ringing off in his head, everything about this felt wrong, but the offer was taunting and he couldn’t stop his hand from carefully taking the pen and signing his name in cursive across the bottom line.
The person grinned like a cat that’d just caught its dinner, swiftly taking the contract away before holding their hands together and opening another portal with a flick of their wrist.
“Thank you for your cooperation!”
Black Hole’s vision went dark.”
