Summary
Saparata Theria wasn't superstitious. He never was. But the same dream, four nights in a row was hard to ignore.
Yet, what's weirder is that he's certain his new seatmate—Fluixon—whom he's pretty sure he's never met before was apart of that dream.
Not only that—but the same Fluixon just invited him to solve the cases of missing people.
Of course he agreed. Who is he to refuse a good thrill?

Fluixon picked up his cup, the blood tasted exactly as disappointing as it had ten minutes ago, he grimaced when he tasted it again.
Across the courtyard, Saparata had finally disappeared around the corner. Fluixon watched the empty space for another moment. Then, quietly, he admitted the thought he'd been avoiding.
If he wanted to satiate his hunger, then he would have to court Saparata Theria.
But do not get it all wrong, Fluixon Aculon wasn't courting him because he was desperate, he simply wanted answers, and if he had to endure Saparata Theria in the process, then he supposed there were worse fates than that.
… Probably.
Or: Five times Fluixon Aculon, a vampire with an ever-growing hunger for blood, tried to court his soulmate—Saparata Theria—to get him the opportunity to feast on his blood, and the one time he finally succeeded in doing so.

Summary
A year ago, Saparata Theria was captain of the Luminara Reapers Basketball Team and one of the most recognizable faces on campus. However, after a catastrophic mistake on the court left another player unable to play again, Saparata withdrew from everything he had and spent the following year attempting to make himself as unremarkable as possible.
This might have worked, had Fluixon Aculon, editor-in-chief of the university newspaper and Saparata's most persistent critic, not taken such an annoyingly inexplicable fixation on him.
