Violet has had enough. She can’t stand to sit in this office one more second. She needed to get out. She could feel the walls closing in on her, the cameras like eyes watching her every movement. Cold and calculating. She shivers and goosebumps rise along her skin in slight fear, her breathing becoming short.
A feeling of warmth suddenly envelopes her and a thought pops into her head almost as if spoken. Her Grandfather's farm. She doesn’t have to stay here, she has another option.
She quickly stands gathering her few personal items and walks out never looking back. Not even when she hears her name being called. Not even when her phone rings, the signature Joja logo popping up.
She hurries home looking around almost paranoid, like she expects someone to appear and drag her back. Once she reaches her apartment she locks the door and then leans against it taking deep breaths while trying to calm her heart rate.
She can't believe she just did that. There was no going back now.
She opens up the seal on the letter her grandfather gave her all those years ago, reading the address written at the bottom. This was it. Pelican Town, her new beginning.

When I look back and try to pinpoint the exact point at which everything in my life changed, I can't pick just one. The truth is that life doesn't work like that. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Well, I'm not Isaac Newton, but I think it’s more than that. Every action has more than one equal opposite reaction. They branch off and interweave in ways you don't even see coming….Im rambling again. If I had the chance to go back and change anything I wouldn't. I know that isn’t what you want me to say, but I'm not going to cater to your needs. However, I’ll share my story. The ones who might be wondering what happened to that girl from their class. The loner girl with a sad past and no family. It’s a funny story actually. Hilarious even. Full of all the things that make a good story, but don't take my word for it. Find out yourself.

Y/n had always liked being outside, but not because of the sun and flowers. She liked the dark storms. The ones that caused damage. She liked the atmosphere of the dark grey sky after a downpour. The forrest was always the most beautiful then.
While taking a very self-indulgent walk after one of these storms you think you hear something. No. You feel something? Like static. The sound was piercing your ears and you felt like your head was being crushed, but you can’t see anyone.
The last thing you see before you pass out is a single piece of paper stuck to a tree with a strange symbol and writing on it.

"I'm not sure whether to be relieved that I was right or terrified that I was right." She's not lying either. She's a bit of both right now.
"Terrified would be the commonly expected reaction," I say softly. Her face is rigid, she's obviously distressed, confused, overwhelmed. I want to help her, to use my gift to calm her, but equally I want her honesty in this moment. If I have any chance at all at honesty with her, she has to be able to process this at her pace.
"I was sort of hoping I had some kind of injury from banging my head so hard," she tells me, her tone and emotional state bitter and slightly wild. "I don't suppose there's any chance this is a hallucination?"

Trying to live in a world that's been blown to bits is hard. Oozers everywhere, a giant skeleton man hellbent on destroying all life, mutagen everywhere, and now the vampires are making a move.
Life being this way sucked. But Lenore understood it was survival of the fittest at this point so survive she would, even if it meant staying as far away from other humans as possible for their protection. She could admit to being lonely, but it was easier this way. Until she come across an orphaned young girl no more then five who had been rejected by the humans for the possibility of being either a mutant or vampire with her strange looks. Unable to leave the child she begins a journey that could more then possibly led to a horrible end.
But hey she promised Marceline to stick with her.
Even if it meant dealing with the king of vampires.
