Summary
The team was on a mission. Keith felt as if he got screwed over on this one. Ever since he managed to control his Galra transformation, he had quite the advantage on the team. His Galra form made him taller, faster, more agile and flexible. And after Alura accepted it, he trained himself. A lot. Yet today something was off. He couldn’t keep up.
or: Lance and Keith get stuck in a weird-looking breaker room. Lance, the idiot he is, messes up. Now he has to save his best friend (ehem ehem more than a best friend) while also saving himself.

Summary
Lance couldn’t help but laugh gently and say, “Hi gorgeous... I missed you since yesterday...” And he really did— he always goes to this reef to maintain it and the merman had become part of his daily schedule. Keith was always all over him and even helped a lot by showing Lance sick coral that was hard to find.
Keith nuzzles their faces together, jostling Lance’s mask a bit but he holds onto it and nuzzles back. Even though they had a rocky start, it seemed all was easily forgiven over time.

Lance is a marine biologist who works at a reef that his favorite merperson lives at. Little does Lance know, he's been mated to this endearing merman for months. Keith is just happy his new mate is fine with all his odds and quirks.

Lance thought everything would be better once he found his resolve. Once he was finally able to get his shit together and stop antagonizing Keith 24/7. He thought once he got his emotions under control they'd finally be able to move past their differences, work together as a team, see eye-to-eye on something for once.
But he'd never been great at anticipating Keith's reactions to, well... anything, really.
After crash landing on an isolated planet with no way of contacting the castle for rescue, Lance is forced to face the repercussions of ignoring the red paladin for an entire month. After everything he'd put Keith through, after everything Keith had put him through... they can put aside petty feelings of jealousy, envy, and loneliness long enough to stay alive for rescue, right?
