Summary
Phainon terperanjat waktu tatapan mereka bersirobok. Dia membeku di tempat ketika Mydei menghampirinya lagi, mendapati Mydei lantas berkacak pinggang sambil pasang wajah menantang di depannya.
"Lihat. Bajunya pas 'kan, di badan saya? Masih ngotot ini bukan pesenan saya?"
BUKAN ITU MASALAHNYAAAAA. Phainon pengen teriak frustrasi, tapi kalau dia bikin kehebohan, kayaknya itu gak bijak bagi situasi mereka. Alih-alih, Phainon hanya mampu mengangguk. Satu tangan Phainon masih mencoba menutupi wajah, walau ujung-ujungnya telapaknya merosot ke hidung. Cemas dia bakal mimisan dalam hitungan detik.
"Iya Mas. P-pas. Banget. Anu…" Phainon gelagapan. Mau bilang 'tapi ya gak usah dipake di sini?? Buat apa??

Thank you for your votes, everyone! Can’t express just how grateful I am for all your love but, unfortunately, I’m no longer deserving of this title. Haven’t been for a long time actually but I can finally say it because just last week I got married!

Summary
"Do you have work for me, or are you simply gawking like the rest?"
Work. Monsters to be vanquished or demons to fight. One doesn't hire a witcher unless they're desperate.
Phainon shivers. "Not work," he says, watching the witcher blink, breathe, study him. From his mannerisms alone, he reminds Phainon of a half-tamed animal. Alert, keenly aware of everything. They say witchers can smell fear. What, then, does he smell on Phainon? "But I have another request."
"Speak, then."
He inhales, swipes his tongue over his lips to taste the rainwater on them. "When you set off," Phainon says, "take me with you."
|
Mydei just wants to fight monsters, collect his paycheck, and move on to the next miserable village and the next miserable client with something to slay. Phainon would do anything it takes to grow stronger and escape his past, even follow a witcher around. Neither of them was ever meant to fall in love.- Language:

“Does it look weird on my face?”
Phainon winces straightaway. He stops just to turn around to Mydei, his hand holding a bag of potato chips. Considering its size: more or less 600 calories. And what time is it, right now? Mydei tuts, preventing himself from conquering the snack harshly from Phainon. Savory chips at eleven p.m. Phainon better have his own clever reasons for this mindless decision.
“Yeah,” Mydei chooses to answer him lightly. “You never wear glasses when you’re with me.”
Phainon and Mydei spend their midnight at a convenience store.

Summary
“Deliverer…” he says, as evenly as he can muster with his pheromones flaring and a lance gripped in his fist, pointed still at Phainon’s neck.
Mydei draws a breath, fixing his gaze on Phainon’s confused, bloodied face.
“…You’re in rut.”
Mydei has long suspected that Phainon of Aedes Elysiae isn’t all he appears to be.

“Why do they throw flowers?”
“They’re well-wishes,” Phainon answers. “Crocuses are for new beginnings, cyclamen are for love, colchicum for fidelity. They’re blessing the marriage.”
Mydei’s hand shifts a little lower, warm fingers circling Phainon’s wrist. “Your traditions are terribly sentimental.”
“Romantic,” Phainon corrects. “Just call them romantic.”

Summary

Summary
"Forgive me if I'm being presumptuous, Lord Phainon," Castorice says, all too politely. "But could you not just message him?"
In the wake of Mydei’s departure from Okhema, Phainon pines, has dreams, gets psychoanalyzed by Hyacine, and loses a duel to his Titan-possessed ex-professor—not necessarily in that order.

Summary
“Well,” is what Aglaea says at last. “This is certainly… a predicament.”
Her voice is as unreadable as ever, so it could mean anything from this is manageable to this is a disaster the likes of which the Flame-Chase Journey will never recover from. As things stand, Mydei is more inclined to believe the latter.
Beside them, Tribbie finally pops up from where she’s been studying their joined hands. “What Snowy said is true!” she proclaims in a voice far too cheerful for their current situation. “He and De are one hundred percent stuck to each other.”
While out on patrol, Mydei and Phainon get hit with a curse that binds their hands together.

Summary

Ten-thousand scars. Ten-thousand lives. His own and not his own, twined and tangled into an inextricable loop across a million identical timelines, all the way back to that first iteration, that first utter and damning mistake.

33 million cycles, and all the long years in-between.

Summary
Nevertheless, if anyone in Amphoreus ever did find themselves on the receiving end of Phainon’s actual wrath, and unless they shared Mydei’s gift of immortality, they probably wouldn’t live to see the next Entry Hour. Probably wouldn't want to either.
Honestly, Mydei wanted to test that theory.
Pushing Phainon's buttons becomes one of Mydei's favourite pastimes.

Summary
An annoying little voice in her head, suspiciously reminiscent of a familiar white haired man, whispered, Mydei's obviously showing symptoms of pregnancy. He's done it, Phainon's defied biology, he's put a baby in him.
Hyacine rushed to say, “But you’ve been snacking a lot more, haven’t you? It can’t just be a regular disease, seeing as the nausea hasn't inhibited your appetite, but made it bigger.”
“So you agree then,” Mydei said, and a radiant grin erupted on his face as though Hyacine had just shared brilliant news. “It is something within my body.”
A few months after Hyacine thinks she is finally free from third-wheeling Phainon and Mydei, Mydei falls pregnant.

Summary
Mydei turns to face him, the puzzle snapping into place.
“And you think I wanted her?” Mydei asks, slowly, unable to conceal his disbelief. “You think I’d choose her as my bedmate?”
Phainon works his hands into fists before releasing them.
“No.” Then, his real answer, or at least one closer to the truth: “I don’t know.” A beat. “Would you?”
for the successful defense of a refugee caravan bound for Okhema, Mydei and Phainon receive an unexpected gift.
