Dehydrated.
Really.
He was in the back of an ambulance with three strangers, one of which was acting like they somehow knew him, simply because he was dehydrated. Blue had mentioned that he had been hurt, though despite all the oxygen masks and the IV lines Tim hadn’t really registered any bandages being applied, or in fact any blood at all.
Maybe that was why Blue had called him Red? Was he covered in blood?
No, but the fabric he was wearing was weird feeling. The sleeve had been cut to allow for the IV and now that Tim was looking at it, he found the weave to be very interesting. It wasn’t just a cotton shirt he was wearing, but a black and red suit that was almost like-
“Red?”
Tim hummed.
“Red, you still with me?”

The subject of Akaashi Keiji’s boyfriend was one that was widely speculated on and brought up every time the Fukurodani alumni uploaded a new picture to social media. The pictures always had Akaashi in the foreground with a neutral expression, and the only thing changing about his pose was that sometimes he held his hand up in a victory sign or thumbs up. The backgrounds were a constant state of chaos, but the subject was never fully visible. The rumours going around their dorm floor were as follows:
One; Akaashi Keiji didn’t actually have a boyfriend, but had really hired someone -- and not necessarily the same someone -- to have hilariously horrific accidents to be caught on camera.

Takemichi blinks, and he’s there. Same customer, same DVDs, and same shitty weather. He smiles, already adept at his routine. “That’ll be 600¥, please.” The customer fumbles with his wallet and handed him the money, grabbing the plastic bag containing the DVDs and leaving. Takemichi didn’t need to look over his shoulder to know that the clock has just struck midnight, the end of his shift, and the start of June 25, his birthday.
Today is the 18th time he’s turned 26.
Or, Takemichi is stuck in a time loop. A personal birthday present from God, even. When he finally meets someone stuck in the same situation as him, he allows himself to hope. He just wished this person didn't take every chance he could get to kill him.

And yet, Chifuyu is just being pretentious, thinking he knew about romance far more than the average Japanese man just because he read a few shojo mangas, and Takashi is having none of that. He knows a lost cause when he sees one, and he sure as hell knows that Hakkai just sees him as an older brother and that he, Takashi, is in way over his head- just like Chifuyu right now, thinking he and Hakkai could be anything more.
Or, a simple comment from Hakkai causes Takashi to doubt where he stands in his best friend's life and with a little help from Toman's self-proclaimed love expert, he comes to a few epiphanies.
