Summary
They defeated Shroud, they destroyed the red ring, and they expected peace. Instead, they received his final, venomous legacy: a curse of absolute mortality.
With Shroud's power dissolved, the Z-team's own vanished. They weren't just weakened; they were profoundly, agonizingly human. The sudden loss of their spectacular abilities forced them into a terrifying crash course on fragility, pain, and the mundane limitations of flesh. Every day became a slow, humiliating lesson in being ordinary—a living fear that their past sins and vanquished enemies would recognize their new, defenseless state. Waterboy ..aka Herman has taken it the worst..., now a new team even scarier the Shroud ever was has come to finish what the red team started. Someone who knows about Herman’s past ...
The damage is done. The police are coming too slow now...
