Summary
He didn’t know why Mu Qing willingly chose to waste away all of his potential. He wished he could hold Mu Qing and put him in a small jar where he could be kept safe and fed and happy.
But none of that was possible. Mu Qing wasn’t a puppy he could train and provide for. His life was his own, and all Feng Xin could do was watch from the sidelines and wonder what life would be like if they had met in uni, if they’d introduced themselves to one another during class instead of right after Mu Qing committed theft.
