Summary
“Why would I care?” The words slip out of the black hedgehog’s mouth and they strike Sonic’s ears as nails on a chalk board. No one here would remember him would they? Not even Shadow, not Tails, not Knuckles, not Rogue, hell even Amy was completely different. What had he done? What happened to his friends, his family? The last thing he remembered of his long time partner was their short fight about his sudden power burst, to Sonic it hadn’t been a big deal, but maybe if had thought for more than a second he would’ve stopped himself for once. He wasn’t sure how much more he could take of these familiar faces looking at him with such suspicion and hatred.

Au where Prime is all the same, but Shadow got spilt like the rest of them and Sonic crashes out WAY harder. Hard to explain, but trust I’m cooking here.

"Take the Prism and RUN." Dusk shoved the rock in Sonic's hands and Sonic took it his ear twitched and his eyes widened, "Shads.." He whispered but before he could do anything Dusk grabbed his face and kissed Sonic passionately and deeply.
"I'll save your world Dusk..I'll save mine too.." Sonic promised after pulling away and with that he sped off..
In hopes of restoring all worlds and making a better world for his lover..No matter what it took..

Summary
Three weeks have passed since Sonic and Shadow's adventure through Shatterspace, the former beginning to readjust to his regular life and putting the whole thing behind him. That is, until the latter informs him that a certain government organisation had some questions for them in regards to the Paradox Prism.
Meanwhile, Sonic is struggling to figure out the new dynamic him and his rival have had ever since that fateful night a fortnight ago. Will it bring them closer together, or will it damage the delicate friendship they had worked so hard to form?
And just why was the maniacal Doctor Eggman nowhere to be seen?

Summary
Shadow nearly whispered, his face mere centimetres away from Sonic’s. He pulled back quickly, crossing his arms over his chest. “I’m risking it even speaking to you, hedgehog.”
Sonic cocked his head to the side; his rival made a good point, but keeping secrets from his friends? That was low, even for him. Shadow scoffed, attempting to leave again. Sonic’s confused expression contorted into a sly smile.
“On one condition,” the blue hedgehog started, his smile growing; he took Shadow’s 'hmph' as a sign to continue, “tell me where you put the Paradox Prism.” Shadow rolled his eyes, but decided to risk it. He got ever so closer to Sonic and pressed his muzzle closer to one of the hero’s infuriatingly twitchy ears, and spoke in the quietest, most threatening whisper.
“My house.”
Before Sonic could ask another question, Shadow seemed to blip from existence.
