TagsSummaryDearest Edward, I’m afraid I can’t date this letter for you; without my calendar, the days spent on the sea tend to blur together. Especially when they’re busy. And busy I have been! We finally got our hands on a proper ship, and luckily there was a spare journal laying about. I was able to talk the crew into letting me keep it. Not that they’d have much use for it; you still have Lucius, so I’m the only one who can really read or write. They don’t understand what I have to write about; we’re making use of the half-used logbook for, well. Logging things, after all. But I thought I’d write to you. I can’t send them to you, of course, because I don’t know where you are. Not yet. I am working on that, you know; i̶f̶ when you’re reading this, it means I’ll have found you. I must admit it’s difficult for me to keep my head on straight these days. And I’m still of course getting the hang of speaking to you like this— speaking without speaking, just jotting things down in these letters. Ah, but I mentioned we finally got a ship! I suppose I should explain. Catch you up, as it were. OR As Stede takes to the sea in pursuit of Ed, he writes some letters.

  TagsSummary“Hello, Dean.”
His voice isn’t soft, per se— but it is warm, so warm, and Dean feels a piece of him settle. A smile slips its way across his face, unbidden and fleeting.
 “Hey, Cas.”

TagsSummaryThorin opened his mouth as though to speak, but no words came out. Bilbo just… watched him. Watched his throat bob, watched his eyes flicker, watched his face crease in unhappy thought. Bilbo just watched him, and wished with a sudden, desperate fervor that he could take Thorin’s pain away, pick it out of him and swallow it whole so that it would never again plague Thorin’s mind, never again stay his tongue, never again tear into his heart.
Thorin looked at Bilbo, eyes wide and fearful, and… and there was nothing Bilbo could say, here, to ease that fear. And so he took Thorin’s hand and lifted it until it rested on Bilbo’s throat, the touch warm and ghosting...

i love you most (but i'm not worthy) by rowanguerrinFandoms: The Hobbit (Jackson Movies)09 Jun 2020 TagsSummary“...Thorin, son of Thrain?” Gandalf said, and Thorin felt something within him shift.
Something desperate and keening bade him look once more at the Thief— at Bilbo— and, before he could even think of doing anything else, his eyes shifted to the body pinned down before him. Bilbo looked up at him with wide, wide eyes, his lips parted as he breathed heavily, afraid and—
And sad, so so sad, as if it were not his body Thorin was about to throw over the ramparts but his heart instead.Series- Part 1 of how to deal with delicate things

time stand still by rowanguerrinFandoms: The Hobbit - All Media Types, The Hobbit (Jackson Movies)02 May 2020 TagsSummaryBilbo Baggins misses his dwarves. Thorin misses his Bilbo. Kíli misses his Tauriel, and Fíli misses the opportunities lost to him and his family. They each deal with it (or don't, really) in their own ways: Bilbo sulks; Thorin mopes; Kíli annoys his Maker; Fíli wistfully wishes things could be different. None of them are happy; none of them are healing, which, really, kind of insults Estë. And so she, with help from Nienna, hatches a plan.
Vairë shall reweave The Tapestry as it pertains to Erebor. Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, and Fíli-and-Kíli shall be granted the chance to change things, to win themselves a happy ending.
Problem, though: they're all idiots, and none of them are capable of communicating like reasonable adults. Oh, my.But maybe, just maybe, these idiots will manage to reclaim Erebor. And maybe, just maybe, they will change the fate of Middle Earth. (mostly using movie canon)

SummaryThorin and Bilbo are in love, but nothing is ever that simple. Together, they work to rise above the challenges hurled their way, be it gold sickness, war, or... well... just about anything else, really. OR This is just an excuse for me to write them as the sappy idiots they are. - Words:

TagsSummaryIt feels like some kind of daydream when Steve pushes Eddie down onto the couch and straddles his lap. Eddie’s definitely imagined it enough times – how Steve would feel over him, or under him, how warm and pliant he would be, how soft his mouth would be, yielding under Eddie’s. He’d never imagined the sharp taste of liquor on Steve’s tongue, though, and that’s enough to wake him up.

dying to meet you (but everybody says I'm wrong) by m4zzyst4r (cinematicghibli)Fandoms: Stranger Things (TV 2016)14 Oct 2025 TagsSummary“Sorry if you got a lot of shit about it. At school. From- you know.” Eddie stares at him. “From… your basketball lackeys?” “Sure. Yeah.” Is this… is Harrington winding him up? “Are you winding me up?” “What? No. No!” “Pardon my hesitance,” Eddie says, narrowing his eyes, “this is just- kind of unexpected. And by that, I mean- a bit of a mind fuck.” Steve clears his throat, looks down at his shoes. Eddie kind of dances from side to side, ducks down to recapture Steve's gaze. “And by that- I mean- cereal shopping with Steve ‘the hair’ Harrington while he apologises on behalf of high school jocks everywhere.” --- Gareth's unintentional matchmaking skills lead Eddie to three new discoveries:
 1. Steve Harrington is very bad at math
 2. Steve Harrington is very fucking weird
 3. Steve Harrington is dangerously easy to fall in love withBookmarked by rowanguerrin16 Oct 2025

TagsSummary“Eddie!” Nash yells repeatedly. “Eddie! Eddie!” Eddie feels himself turning bright red. “Wow,” he says after his name is repeated a good half a dozen more times in a row. “You weren’t kidding, huh?” “He’s been like this all day,” Maddie says with a grin on her face. She shifts Nash in her arms, pointing over at Eddie as she says, “Look who it is, sweetie. It’s Eddie!” Nash frowns, looking confused. “Eddie?” Maddie nods. “Yeah, that’s Eddie!” “Eddie!” Nash yells, reaching for Buck. “Eddie!” * (When baby Nash's first word is “Eddie”, questions are raised as to how this could possibly have happened.) - Language:
