It's 4:48 AM.
Of course. Why wouldn't it be? It's not like Perry has anything better to do, like catch up on the sleep he's so sorely lacking from weeks upon weeks of overtime. Or finally get some of that rest that he was determined to get— though now that he’s woken up, there’s no way he’ll be able to fall back asleep anytime soon.
At least Heinz is a good cuddler.
Or: Perry wakes up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep. Somehow it’s not the worst thing in the world.

One of Heinz’s inators turns him handsome, and Perry has never been this frustrated in his entire life. Not because his nemesis is suddenly attractive (though it certainly does things to him that he’s not going to acknowledge anytime soon), but because of all the people who suddenly want Heinz’ attention.
