    As Yue Qingyuan turned towards him and approached, Shen Qingqiu was forced to witness the bare front of his torso as well—just as thick as the back, with a ridiculous amount of padding over the muscles of his pectorals.     Shen Qingqiu lifted his gaze to find Yue Qingyuan staring down at him with pink cheeks. It seemed not even the esteemed Xuan Su Sword was immune to the effects of exertion.

    A chance encounter has Shen Qingqiu seeing more of Yue Qingyuan than he anticipated. He feels very normal about it and reacts in a completely sane way.

    "Quiet," Xiao Jiu sniffs, then repeats: "Don't move."

     

    Yue Qingyuan doesn't know what to expect. He knows his heart is thundering in his chest, and his hands ache to reach out and take hold of Shen Jiu, though he hasn't been allowed any touch but his fingertips against his shidi's sleeves since their conversation in the Wolf Garden.

     

    But whatever he expects, it isn't what he gets. Nothing in his heart or mind could have expected that dear face to lean in closer—those sharp brows to furrow, and those clever eyes to lock on his own. Those pale lips to brush his own unmoving ones.

    Before it can all go to hell, Shen Jiu and Yue Qingyuan manage to find each other again.

    If it was only the quiet between them forever, rather than guilt and sorrow and rage, Yue Qingyuan would be happy. But Shen Jiu doesn't do anything halfway, and he's very aware that there's more Qingyuan wants

    A story of soft-domming, feeling human, and starting to recover.
