Otoya groans exaggeratedly, but he shifts against Karasu anyway, reaching for his bedside drawer, and Karasu belatedly realizes how close him and Otoya are pressed against each other; their legs are tangled up together, and before he’d moved, Otoya had been practically draped across Karasu’s chest. It makes something in Karasu tighten, somewhere around his ribcage, and his hoody, oversized and baggy though it is, suddenly feels too tight on him.
____Karasu and Otoya are college seniors, best friends, roommates, and frat brothers in the Beta Lambda fraternity. They also may or may not be in love. (They are).

After looping the cord around his wrist thrice; “You gonna keep stalking me?” Nagi asks, genuinely wondering.
Reo backs away a step, just enough to look dramatic about it. “Stalking? Don’t flatter yourself. I was bored. You’re new. And interesting. And a little stupid, which I find very charming.”
Nagi blinks again. The insult doesn’t even properly sink in with Nagi’s current level of bewilderment.
By the time he finds words again, Reo is already half-turned toward the door, voice floating back over his shoulder, sweet like poison: “See you around, puppy. Try not to lose your toys next time.”

Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
