A screen flicks on and shifts until it’s hovering over Spamton. The weight against his chest is lifted, and the Addison chokes on a sob as he rips himself up, throwing the blanket down. Something in the corner of his vision moves, brushes against his cold cheek, and Spamton flinches.
“Spamton? Sweetheart? What’s the matter?”

Spamton G. Spamton wakes up in a bed he doesn't remember going to sleep in, and next to a Darkner that he doesn't know.

Summary
Spamton is stressed.
He would never admit it to anyone. He wasn't supposed to be stressed. He was supposed to be perfect.
But his benefactor has been breathing down his neck, convinced he’s been distracted from their goal, spending too much time playing friendship with people at the studio. It wasn’t his fault they liked to throw company parties – he considered it networking, building his image and brand. His benefactor considered it a distraction.
His time at TV Time Studios has been good, his life finally coming together into something to be proud of. It didn't matter that the paranoia was starting to eat him alive.
And of course, there was that damn TV.

“We’ll make a life.” Tenna cups the curve of her lover’s cheek. “We’ll take care of each other. You’ll see. I’ll help you become healthier. We’ll spend time together. So much of it. My baby. My darling.”
Spamton shifts closer to her until the space between them is imperceptible. Laying her head against her chest, she stifles her tears. “I w–want that too. I w-w-want to-to take care of you too.”
Tenna’s hand drifts down to stroke Spamton’s back. Lips finding her forehead to kiss once more. It’s hushed, all they have is the sound of their breathing.
I love you. I want to rebuild everything with you. I want to make up for the love I couldn’t give to you. I’m sorry. I don’t deserve you.
These words are nestled heavily in the smaller woman’s throat. But Spamton has a feeling that Tenna knows, with the way she smiles down at her. It’s never said aloud, but they can feel it in everything.

After years of poverty, illness, and regret, Spamton is taken in by Tenna and loved until she is mended back together. Reminded that their love transcends passed time, remaining intact and strong. (Human AU)

Summary
Tenna was a lot of things. He was a thespian and a writer! A showman and a showrunner! A fun source of escapism for the entire family!
But he was also a leader. A ruler.
His title as the "Lord of Screens" covered both sides of his role in both worlds and he was specially made to handle all his duties with ease. It was a lot of work, sure, but always doable. Like second nature.
Except now.
Now, he was getting distracted and while he would never let anything come between his work and his family...it left any TV World matters outside of the studio largely abandoned.
His people were unhappy and His popularity was dropping! That was it! No more delays! No more excuses! He needed to remember who wore the crown in his dark world and act like it...by doing paperwork mainly.
Which would have been easy if the source of all his problems hadn't shown up to distract him.
