Eren Jaeger thinks something is wrong with him. He sees memories that don’t seem like his own, experiences feelings that he hasn’t felt yet. He’ll look in a mirror and wonder why he can never remember what his own face looks like. His entire identity feels like it’s been fragmented.
But he can’t be caught up in identity issues for too long—Eren has more important things to do with his life.
Like making sure his family of two won’t leave him like the last one did. And removing whatever stood in his way in the path to freedom, no matter the cost.

“I think it’s time you were held accountable,” he leers, shaking him carelessly. This close, Reigen can smell the decaying scent that clings to him like an extension of his body. “I want you to watch as your actions destroy the ones you love, and I want you to hurt.” He lets go without warning, and Reigen’s face slams onto the ground. Mogami gets up too and presses a shoe to the back of his head, rubbing it there. “Suffering is all you people deserve, after all. Filth.”

Reigen can feel sweat pricking the back of his neck. The horror of the situation finally setting in, this boy not only was the same one who had saved him before, but is in need of critical help. “What's your name?” He says shakily, “Lets start there, yea?”
He still doesn’t get a reply. But the boy isn’t heaving so hard now, eyes darting around and taking in his surroundings. Or more likely trying to figure out an escape plan, if Reigen had to guess. He decides to keep talking, to try to fill up the empty air and ease the tension if he can. And if he’s lucky, maybe eventually get some answers out of the small kid.
“No?” he says after a pause, “That’s okay, we’ll get there. I’m Reigen,” He gestures to himself and to the space around him weakly, “And I live here. But I take it you know that already.”
