I went to the Capital to work for the war, however, it seems that I can't remember what has happened for the past seven years in the war. I woke up in my village without a clue why I have no memory nor any mementos of what had happened.
A few months pass and I was preparing for the arrival of Duke Uvarr, the war hero that the kingdom loves and fears due to his strength and swordsmanship, he happened to arrive early and greeted the villagers with a shy look.

“The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?”
Nico’s eyes widened. “But–“
“Lead them there!” Percy shouted. “Promise me!”
„I–, I will.”
Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down.
All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone.
Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below.
Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too.

Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico.

Percy sighs. “You think some fucked up crime city in New Jersey is the perfect place for me to lay low and stay out of trouble?”
“Divine trouble? Greek trouble?” Chiron nods, stroking his chin gravely. Percy’s pretty sure he’s only doing it for dramatic affect. “Oh yes, Percy. Mortal trouble? You are unfortunately on your own for that, I’m afraid. As long as you avoid the Batman, you should be fine.”
Percy stares at him.
“The Batman is real?” He asks finally, afraid of the answer. Chiron just turns back to the fire again, though Percy definitely saw a twinkle in his eye. Stupid old horse.
(Or, Percy Jackson needs to get away from it all. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to get away from him. Was anyone going to tell him the Batman is real?)
