    There’s a bunch of photos with the camera flipped, candids of a coworker not realising there’s a phone pointed at him. The guy has fluffy brown hair and rectangular glasses. There’s only one picture with a clear quality shot of his features and it’s a side profile, so Wade knows he has a slightly crooked nose and a thin scar from jawline to cheek on one side of his face, but that’s it.

    Still. There’s something about this guy that feels… familiar? That shouldn’t be right, because Wade doesn’t make a lot of acquaintances that have nothing to do with the masked weirdo lifestyle and this guy is just a barista at a coffee shop, but there’s definitely some deja vu-like feelings happening.

     

    Or:
    Your regular ass coffee shop au that has way too much happening in it. Including but not limited to: "Oops I left my phone at your workplace and your coworker took stupid selfies and some photos of you on it, and you're weirdly familiar" serendipity, superhero shenanigans, mystery coffee orders, and extended challenges as a form of flirting.

    From where he was crouched over the loose floorboard in Peter's bedroom.

    The floorboard where he kept the Spider-Man suit.

    OR

    The one where Wade breaks back into the apartment he just moved out of to retrieve some sentimental objects and gets a bit more than he bargained for from the new tenant, who is a suspiciously good match in a fight.

    He doesn’t want to dwell on why he’s telling Deadpool of all people. Surely it has nothing to do with his desperate lack of friends. MJ is in California chasing her dreams, Harry’s undergoing treatment for his mental health and isn’t allowed visitors (not that it matters since they blacklisted Peter after last time), and Gwen… Well.

    And it’s not like he can talk to Aunt May without her worrying about him starving to death under a bridge or something so… Deadpool it is. Man, when did his life get this pathetic?

    OR: The one where Peter and Wade are literal soulmates but don't realize it for literal years because they're literal idiots.
