“Oh, you wanna fight me, little brother?” Dean grinned and stood up, letting Sam lay there helpless on the couch as he jumped on top of him, making little shoves to his shoulders. After only a few seconds of a little playful fighting, he had enough and dragged Sam’s hands above his head. His t-shirt rode up just enough for Dean to get a glimpse of his belly button before his gaze forced its way back up to the eyes of his brother once again.

as i said in my tumblr post: dean walking in on sam self-harming during s7 🤤🤤🤤 sam staring up at him with wide, wet eyes, can't say anything, blade covered in blood. dean spinning the emotive wheel and landing on rage: "what the hell, sammy? now my brother's a teenage girl?"
“I’m not—” Sam stops. He feels sick and fuzzy. Any moment now, Satan’s gonna start getting chatty. The side of the bathtub should be firm and hard against his back, but even that lacks materiality. Everything is just as fake as everything else. “Okay, first of all, I’m not a teenage girl.” It’s the wrong thing to go after, he’s barely making sense.
And Dean doesn’t even deign to respond to that verbally. He just nods at the cuts.

“Did you ever have a, uh… experimental phase?” Sam smacked his lips, trying to think of a diplomatic way to phrase it. “That kid—by which I mean you—has been staring. At me. Kind of a lot.”
(Sam and Dean get sent back to 1996 and go on a hunt with their teenaged selves. The kids don't know who they are.)
