Summary
Mel’s third-favorite scene in Dirty Dancing is only a second long. It’s when Johnny jumps off the stage during the final dance and flips his head up right on cue with the singer crooning “Hey, baby!”
So it was very distracting that, for the rest of the day after her karaoke session with Myrna, Frank had been quietly singing those two words to her every time they ran into each other. A “Hey baby!” when he slid into the chair next to her in the breakroom. Another when they met in the middle both jogging to an ambulance.
She couldn’t help but laugh every time he did it which, knowing Frank, meant he’d probably do it tomorrow, and the next day, and the next.

Summary
“Robby force you to take a break?” he asks when she’s close enough to not have to yell.
“Yeah.”
“Me too,” he huffs. “Like he’s my superior or something. Asshole.”
Samira laughs, bending down to put her coffee down, balancing her sandwich on the lid, and then leans her forearms on the railing, far enough away to still be able to look at the side of his face, but close enough that she feels a little more confident she’ll be able to do something if he… Well. “Should you be sitting over there?” she asks, staring at the slight slope of his nose, the shadow of his eyelashes across on the top of his freckled cheekbone.
“Probably not,” he answers in a casual tone. “At least I’m sitting.”
That doesn’t comfort her very much, but she figures there’s no point in fighting him on it, so she turns and sits down with her back against the warm metal, mirroring him. “You want half of my sandwich?” she offers, twisting her upper body to hold it out to him.

Summary
The team know, in an off-hand sort of way, that Hotch has stitched himself together, most likely a few times in his life. Mostly those stiches hold, keeping all the ugly bits of his history and character beneath a veil of tight control.
But there are times when those seams begin to strain against the pressure, when Hotch sometimes even pulls them back a little, when they bleed thick rivulets of story and emotion, revealing all that he tries to forget. When they happen, it never fails to break their hearts.
A series of One-shots where each of the main-seven members of the BAU get a glimpse into Hotch's past or psyche. Essentially just an excuse to have angst, Hotch-Whump, dramatic reveals and some Hotch-character exploration.
