Summary
“Well, you didn't think that all it gives me are painful visions and hallucinations, did you?” Hallorann snorted, but he couldn't manage a smile. The claw was still hovering over his pulse.
For a moment, there was complete silence. The only sound was the rush of blood in his ears. As if having made up its mind, It blinked, smiling at him again.
“Didn't think,” It murmured after him, almost dreamily, then loosened its grip on his neck, pulling its claws back. The hand on his chest also stopped its relentless pressure, so Hallorann finally took a deep breath, involuntarily glancing at the clown on his hips. "And what else can you do, i wonder, mm? You know, Dickie, you're the first human with, as you call it, a shining, that I've gotten my hands on..."
It moved again, like excited cats can fidget in place when their owner waves a fluffy toy in front of their eyes. Hallorann clenched his teeth. He didn't like the warmth that movement sent through his body.
“Maybe I'll stay a little longer, just to play with you.” -

Summary
Ed had never favored the delicate things in life, but there was something oddly alluring about this man: the soft hint of pink against his pallid face, the smattering of freckles over his cheeks and hooked nose — it was a nose that would probably only look good on him. His eyes were distant and glassy. Haunting. Doll-like. He looked sick, but it was beautiful. He looked helpless. He looked like…

Summary
Just a fluffy one shot set in season 5 where Ed realizes him and Oswald aren't so different.
Because Ed literally did almost the same thing as Oswald when he tried to kill Gordon because of Lee, but who am I to point fingers. He's a smart boy, he'll figure that out.
I needed something soft and happy that wasn't full of maniuplation and pain and hurt. So, here ya go. :D

Summary
(IMMEDIATE SEQUEL TO 'EXTINGUISHED'. STRONGLY ADVISED READING THAT FIRST FOR BUILD-UP AND CONTEXT!)
Edward brings their foreheads together with the back of Oswald's head, nuzzling slightly in hopes the action will help convey how he feels.
“I wish I'd told you sooner... all those months, years...”
"Don't. I'd rather not think of 'what ifs',” Oswald butts in, rubbing Edward's shoulders. “Let's just make the most of what we have now, okay?” There's a pause when Edward doesn't answer, seemingly looking at Oswald's chest instead. “Can you do that for me, Ed? For us?”

Summary
Stepping under the stream of water is always a shock on the days when it’s coldest. The water feels too hot while the air is still too cold, both temperatures prickling at his skin. The furnace does its best to warm the studio apartment, but with the bathroom being farthest from the source, Ed simply has to wait for the steam to worm its way through the chilly air surrounding his bare body.
