Summary
It was your first day of residency at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre. You knew working in trauma would be difficult, but you hadn’t expected it to be anything like this.
After finishing medical school, you planned to specialise in cardiology. You had been born with a heart defect, and owed your life to the doctors who had saved you all those years ago. The hospital had been your second home growing up, so you thought you had known what to expect.
What you hadn’t expected was for everything to be thrown off course by the incredibly talented and even better looking Doctors working in the Pitt.
As the shifts go by, patients are lost, and professional boundaries start to blur into something dangerous. Touches linger longer than they should, and you find yourself falling for your handsome and much older bosses and coworkers.
I couldn’t choose between writing a fic about Robby, Abbot or Whitaker so I thought, why not all three…?

Yet, after your one-night stand turned into two—then three, then more—Jack’s house has gradually begun collecting souvenirs from you. Your toothbrush in a vase on his bathroom counter; his refrigerator stocked full of your preferred carbonated beverage; a pillow brought in from your apartment. Then, without either of you noticing it, the initial fire that burned brightly between you had tamed into a gentle warmth.
Now, the way you feel about Jack seems to be the farthest thing from casual. If you want to be honest with yourself, it feels a lot like love.
