The Idol Awards were supposed to be the day that HUNTR/X turned the Honmoon gold, sealing all the demons away. It was the day that Rumi was supposed to be free of her patterns and finally be able to join Mira and Zoey at the woman's bathhouse. Except that didn't happen. Rumi's patterns were revealed to the world; Celine refused her request, and Rumi decided she was done hiding. The final battle with Gwi-Ma didn't go exactly as planned either. HUNTR/X was forced to retreat temporarily but eventually returned with newfound strength and determination to protect their home.
This is the story of that fight and the consequences of a choice to draw on a previously untapped power that will have a lasting effect on all three Hunters.
