Summary
Shadow is very particular about his coffee– he has to have it made just right or it won’t be good at all. That’s why he saves money and carefully crafts his own at home. But one morning when he’s running late to G.U.N., which never happens (he slept in after having a strange dream of swirling blue and green), he has to stop by a random coffee cabin on the way. He picked something off the seasonal menu that sounded acceptable.
When he takes his first sip while riding away, he can’t help but whip his head around to look back at the small coffee shack to sketch it into his memory. No one ever made it the exact T that he did, they either used too much syrup, or drowned out the espresso with too much milk. He could taste the bitter flavor of the espresso and fragrant flavor of lavender, paired with the slight sweetness of honey to balance it out.
It was the best thing he’d ever had.
Who made his order again? A hedgehog like him- but blue, with striking green eyes. Why did that sound familiar?Or: Sonic owns a small coffee shack “Sonic’s Speedy Sips” and Shadow becomes a very loyal customer.

Summary
Arthur Pendragon was a lot of things.
He was heir to Camelot Designs, a fashion and magazine empire in it's own right. He was valedictorian of his business college, a feat he was quite proud of even years later. He was well known as being strict, firm, and serious in his line of work, but being laid back and quite flirtatious in his private life. He was known for many different things all through out his life. But there was one thing he wasn't.
And that was subtle.

If that wasn't already enough to make him dread Tower's next words, the glossy trade magazine cutout clipped to the page that proclaims in no uncertain terms that Super Sonic Security will be attending the ID&S Exposition for the second year in a row definitely is.

"No."
or, Going undercover as his ex's boyfriend would be a lot less complicated if Shadow was actually over him at all.

It started with a growing ache in his gums, but soon the symptoms progressed, and now there’s a constant ringing in his ears.
